Taiwanese slang 日常用語 流行用語
你知道台灣的流行用語嗎？所謂的流行用語是字典查不出來的，不過在電視上和年輕人的會話會常常聽到的。聽不懂怎麼辦呢？沒關係我們來介紹一下台灣的流行用語。
English：Do you know about Taiwanese slang? Slangs is the words which cannot find in a dictionary but you will hear them in the television and the communication between the teenagers. What can you do if you cannot understand them？. There is no need to worry, because we will introduce them right now.

Something interesting about eating in Taiwan
As everyone knows, we use chopsticks rather than forks to eat. And there are some interesting legend and taboo about using chopsticks.
For example, when we are small, we were told by the adults that we have to eat all of the things in our bowl, or we will marry to a ugly husband (or wife). Or the higher we hold our chopsticks, the farer will we live when we are married.
About the taboos of using chopsticks, we are not allowed to stick the chopsticks straight into the food, because it will look like the incense stick which we use in the temple. We also are not allowed to hit our bowls with our chopsticks. It is said that if we hit our bowls with our chopsticks, we will be poor in the future.
There’s another interesting thing about eating in Taiwan. In Taiwan, when the fisher men are eating a fish, they should not turn their fish around. Because, if you turn a fish around, it means that your boat or ship will turn around when you are on the sea!!
For example, when we are small, we were told by the adults that we have to eat all of the things in our bowl, or we will marry to a ugly husband (or wife). Or the higher we hold our chopsticks, the farer will we live when we are married.

台湾人は病気になったとき、どうしているのか。
病院にいく以外に私たち台湾人は、自分たちの方法で病気を治します。たとえば薬ではなく、たくさんの果物を食べてビタミンCを摂ります。時々私たちは伝統的中国治療法の病院へ行きます。薬を患者にあげるのではなく、医療用の薬草を患者にあげることもあります。昔はその薬草を特別なポットに入れ、種類によって異なりますが薬草を何分か煮込みます。そのスープ状になった薬は、薬草と同じ効き目がありました。でも今では、ほとんどの伝統的中国治療法の病院は薬草の薬を渡し、薬草を煮るという面倒な作業を避けることができます。
薬草を煮込んだスープを飲む以外に、私たちには伝統の治療方法があります。それは「抜缶」（民間療法）と針を刺す方法です。これらは痛みを和らげる事ができます。

What will a Taiwanese do when he/she is sick ?
Besides going to a doctor, we Taiwanese have our own way to
cure our illness. For example, we will have a lot of fruit or take
vitamin C rather than medicine. Sometimes we will also go to a
doctor of traditional Chinese medicine. Instead of prescribing pills
to the patients, the doctor will give you the prescription with
medicinal herbs. In the old times, you can put them in a special
pot, and after simmering for sometime, depending on the kind of
herb. The medicine would be the soup of the herbs, and it is as
efficacious as the pills. Now most of the doctors of traditional
Chinese medicine would prescribe herbal pills too, to avoid the
tiresome process of simmering the herbs.
In addition to drink the herb stew, we also have some traditional
treatment, such as fire cupping or acupuncture. They both can relief
aches and soreness.

for those weak nations such as children , pregnant women , the
aged and physical disability . So , when you sit on it but there's
weak nations around , it's priority for them . If you continue to stay
on , you'll suffer rom pricks of conscience .
If you want to travel by taxi , raise your right hand " without thumb
up " to intercept .Intercept the one with yellow color and the light
on . In Taiwan , taxi takes off from 70 dollars , but during Chinese
New Year , it will take off more expensively.
